My mate has itchy balls, (he tells me everything), Also he says the skin between his legs (skinfolds i think) become very red raw and is very sore for him to open his legs, Is this an STD? I told him to use Canesten or Tea tree oil, cuold this be a simple fungal infection?

Sound's like a fungal infection. He should try both of the items you listed. Start with the Canesten.

Be careful with the tea tree oil. Find a diluted type. Full strength can burn.

Tell your mate NOT to use Tea Tree Oil unless he wants to burn alive.

He needs to wash thoroughly and dry completely.Then use Canesten.If after 7 days it isnt better,he should go to a GP.

I've used Tea Tree Oil many times with out any burning but I'm sure it's not 100% Oil. I'll have to look up it's concentration.
