A little more information would help. It sounds as if you have a UTI or urinary tract infection. Commonly they prescribe Sactrim F for UTI's.
A UTI is usually accompanied by frequent and/or urgent needs to have a pee, is this your symptom also?
The other thing commonly associated with burning whilst and after a pee is high blood sugar levels, so you might ask that your blood sugar level be checked for diabetes if your present course of treatment doesn't put you right.
