Help Cremasterreflex doesn't work - Men's Health Message Board

Hi, I am 20 years old and actually I have no problems.
I have been to a neurologist a few times because of headaches and stuff and all the kinds of reflexes which he tested worked fine.
Now I saw in a book that there is a reflex called Cremasterreflex and this reflex is said to be very important in men.
The Cremaster is a muscle in the scrotum and actually the testicles should be pulled up when you touch the the inner side of your upper legs and move up and down.But it doesn't work with me, this scares me.
What can this be ? Nothing happens, I mean I tried it a few times, just the way the books describe it and nothing happens. Maybe I have something with the spine.Maybe a tumor ?

The Cremaster reflex often become much diminished after puberty and this muscle is used for temperature regulation in adults by raising and lowering the testicles.

As long as your testicles rise wehn you are cold and drop when you are warm, then you have nothing to worry about.
