Well, a general physical exam at this age should cover:
- Weight
- Blood pressure & pulse
- Abdominal check (doctor just feels abdomen for abnormalities)
- Reflex check
- Urine analysis
- Skin check
- Blood test including cholesterol levels
- General assessment of Body Mass Index and Body Fat %
- Genital examination, particularly checking for testicular cancer and any STD's. A hernia test (the old turn the head and cough trick) is also done while examining down there.
That's about all that is need for someone in his 30's. When he gets to be about 40-45, a digital prostate examination and PSA blood test will need to be added to the physical. But that's a ways off yet.
