Red vein on surface of foreskin? - Men's Health Message Board

Hi all...

I am an uncircumsized male and I have been wondering something for a while.. on the right side of my foreskin, there is almost a vein-like 'thing' that leads to my frenulum. It is very visible until it reaches the foreskin that covers the gland of my penis, then it becomes faint and leads to the frenulum. It just seems to sit there on the surface of the skin...

What is this? Is this normal?

Why do u want to remove it? Its a part of ur penis.

Assuming it is a vein, then you're definitely going to want to keep it. It's carrying blood somewhere and it's best to continue to let that happen!

Lots of guys (myself included) have visible veins on our penises. They give it character.
