worrying problem - please read - Men's Health Message Board

hi, i have discovered a very worrying problem as of late.

its quite hard to describe, but i'll list the symptoms.

its kind of like one side of my penis shaft has thickened, and unlike the other side, it sticks out. its very visble when erect, but not so visble when unerect but it feels slightly harder. let me explain, it doesnt seem to be a lump, but the entire shaft (or a huge plaque) on the right. ive had this for a few months now and im incredibly worried.

it curves *SLIGHTLY* to the left aswell, which i noticed around the same time, but it doesnt seem to be as over the top as pyroine diseased curves, if you get what i mean.

can anyone give me advice? or have this problem themselves?

the only thing i can think is due to wearing tight underwear and when erect, the penis is having to bend, or its caused injury somehow.

well either that, or something very *VERY* serious. which is what im really worried about.

Do you notice this only while erect?

The penis has 3 cylinders of erectile tisse - the sponge like tissue that fills up with blood and makes it hard. When erect, you can sometimes see the outline of these 3 cylinders - there's one on each side, and another in the middle on the underside. I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about.

it could be, from what your saying it makes sense.

but it seems the 'right cylinder' is bigger than the left, and like i said, it kinda sticks out.

is this anything to worry about?

If it's significantly bigger and/or has changed recently, there is the potential that you have some sort of blood flow problem. If this is the case, atrip to a urologist could be warrented.

yes i have an appointment in october.

and to the previous person, yes its only noticable when erect.

im still incredibly worried as even though i dont *THINK* its gettin worse, it doesnt seem to be improving either...
