 red bumps at hair follicle
Does anyone know what those little red bumps, often with a little whitehead in the middle, that form around a single hair follicle usually around the tops of the legs, groin and butt are? You know the ones where if you pull the hair out that is in the middle of the bump there is a little bit of puss, then the bump stays red for a few days afterward. I'm not talking about ingrown hairs, these form at the base of hair that is fully grown out. They are common I know, but I don't know what causes them and how you can minimize getting them. Any thoughts?
