Re: why would testosterone injections not work
it could be a physical issue. Have you seen a urologist about this? I HAD the same problem as you are reporting... low testosterone level, no sex drive, and no erection. I began getting 1cc of injection per month begining 18 months ago... during that time, the injection was not helping, my level was still low, and I still had no sex drive or erection. My doctor began increasing the dosage... I talked with a urologist who gave me a sample pack of Lavitra, Cialis, and Viagra. She told me to try them, and of course be with a partner that I would be trying to have sex with, so I would have the turn-on... and see if they helped. They do not work if you are alone, becasue they can help with the erection but they do not help with the sex drive... you need some with you to help with that area. Anyway, the urologist told me that if I can get an erection with one of these, then my body and penis are working properly, I just need some help. If I could not get an erection, then there is probably something physically wrong and may need to do surgery to correct it.
The vivagra and cialis worked -- cialis worked the best -- WOW. The lavitra did not work for me... but I hear it works for others. Anyway, I told my reg doctor about this and they checked my testosterone levels again and it was still low. The trippled my dosage this time, and WOW... I am BACK to myself again... I am now taking 6cc's every two weeks -- that's 12cc's a month -- 12 times what I strated with 18 months ago.. but it is finally working. I can tell a big difference.
Sooooo... your injections may not be working because of a physical problem, or you may not be getting a large enough dosage. Keep trying and good luck.
