Testosterone Result in U.K. ?Confused

Hi, I'm 34 and have all the symptoms of Low Testosterone.

Had my bloods taken and the Testosterone result came back at 0.72 (of what I or the clerk don't know).

The clerk says this was marked as 'normal' by a Doctor. Have yet to speak to the DR. but have to be educated somewhat on the subject as they can fob you off easy.

I'm confused as I don't know wheter this refers to Free or Total Testosterone and on what scale of measurement they use in the UK/Ireland test.

What I do gather is the range for FREE is 15-40 pg/ml

and

TOTAL 10.4-34.7 nmol/L Both for my age group.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EDUCATE ME HERE AND LET ME KNOW WHAT MY RESULT SAYS

Re: Testosterone Result in U.K. ?Confused

Got the proper result and it's only 5.8

The reference range is 10-34 nmol/L (equivalent to US reference range of 300 -1000 ng/dl)

Started on TRT patch 5mg daily, pending I believe Urology referall and query pituitary gland check.

Comments appreciated.

You should have other hormone tests such as LH, FSH, Prolactin, thyroid and cortisol. These other tests will narrow down the cause of your low testosterone. If you take T before the tests then they will not be diagnostic.
