Testicle Pain and Prostate-like symptoms

I've been having testicle pain frequently enough lately that I'm having to start to take tylenol. It's beginning to happen maybe three times a week. It's in both testicles and it isn't sharp. It feels like the after effect of someone kicking your nuts. I can feel it a little in my abdomen. Lasts for a few hours. Both testis, not just one. Everything appears normal. Also it's not an STD, Virgin.

On a side note, I seem to have prostate symptoms. Frequent urination, trouble starting, trouble making continuous stream, stopping and starting, thin stream. These have been going on for the last couple of years, the pain pretty new.

I would be certain I have an enlarged prostate but I am only 20 years old.

Tonight is the worst it's been, actually pretty uncomfortable. Tylenol doesn't seem to have an effect.

I don't know if the pain is related to the prostate-like symptoms or not. Any ideas?

Re: Testicle Pain and Prostate-like symptoms

I would suggest you go to a Urologist doctor for a look see. You could have any number of things going on and if you are sexually active it could also be an STD. You are rather young for prostate problems so there might be some kind of infection going on that is causing some of your symptoms. You really should go have it all checked out to be sure nothing serious. good luck.

Thank you for the response. I'm actually a virgin so I'm quite sure its not an STD. I think I will see a doctor about it though.

Re: Testicle Pain and Prostate-like symptoms

Infections can reach the prostate other than through sexual contact so you do need to get that checked out. Your GP can do a quick test to see if you have any white blood cells in your urine and may just give you antibiotics.
