[FONT="Comic Sans MS"] Hey there, I have been having some weird testicular problems and need your advice, the threads on this site are all great and informative, but I am going to my urologist next week but still in the dark now and going crazy.
†I am 25 years old, and over the last two days I have started to develop severe pain, especially on my right testicle. I also noticed I am having difficulty passing urine, which isn't painful but I do have a feeling the urine is ready to pee then suddenly retracts back in. As far as my testicular pain I started to notice tenderness about 3-4 months ago. The right testicle was very tender to touch; recently I have noticed swelling and a change in the shape of the testicle also. Now the testicle itself is very painful but the whole scrotum is extremely sensitive also. Also within the last 6-8 months i've noticed a large decrease in muscle and have gained fat in my abdomen, as well as this week i noticed what i think are swollen and sore lymph nodes. I have not had any previous testicular problems that I know of but medically I was catheterized approximately one year ago for urinary retention. I received MRI's and testing on my spine for MS and nuerogenic bladder (both ruled out) but the cause was never found. I did also start to notice a pain in my testicle when ejaculating that started about 4 months ago also. I have not had sexual intercourse for over 4 years either, only masturbation. The only other medical condition I was diagnosed with is Crohnís disease other than that I have not had any surgeries or problems.
How can I be sure my testicle really IS swollen? It definately is different in shape, but I never really checked enough to know if it has significantly changed.
Within the last year i've also noticed a significant loss of body hair, armpits, pubic etc... What could this possibly be and what should i be checking myself or looking for. I was told this could be urgent, called the urologist and they hot me in next week. Just looking for some insight on what to pursue and what I can do from here.†
