Question Vasectomy Recovery Time

Finally got snipped about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Never used the frozen peas, and switched to just regular Tylenol after a few days. All-in-all, I'd say it went pretty smoothly, compared to some horror stories I've heard.

However, coming up on the 3-week mark and I keep reading people talk about how I should be back to my "normal routine" well before now. For the most part, I am. No pain while sitting, standing, moving, walking, etc. However, they're still tender and it seems that any hard jostle (such as a heavy step or jogging) causes a twinge of pain.

I want to get back to exercising, but at this point, there's no way I'm going to be able to get on that treadmill.

How long should I wait like this before I assume this is uncommon? Someone please tell me it'll be over tomorrow.

Re: Vasectomy Recovery Time

FOLLOWUP:

5 weeks. The pain/discomfort pretty much subsided after 4 weeks and at 5 weeks I don't even think about it anymore. It's all good.
