Have lots of Smegma..risk of Penile cancer?

I've been reading about how smegma can be cause of penile cancer.

I have never washed my penis well...cause it's really difficult. I injured my penis and pulling it or touching it is painful..so i do wash it but it would take me loads of time to make it perfectly clean.
Moreover, i have some weird scales inside the foreskin.

They are like dandruff and i can pull them but then i have others that are not peeleable yet..so i just leave them in.

I also have paraphimosis but i had it since 2005 and the only problem i've had is that it takes alot of time to force it to move forward but i have tricks and over time i have discovered how to make it go forward.still it does take time.

Well more about Smegma. I dont know if this is smegma but i have scales/lots under the head of the penis...and it's like i have to peeel my skin if i want to get rid of them...i don't know if i should remove them because to get rid of them i have to pull..and itmight be part of the skin so i usually dont.

i just remove the biggest ones.

Also i have a lot of dandruf on the head of of the penis.. this is not smegma, right? This is just dandruff like what you have in your scalp

Does it sound like i may have cancer?

i'm 30 years old

Re: Have lots of Smegma..risk of Penile cancer?

Smegma is just dead skin cells that are coming off the top layer of skin and getting "flushed" out from under the foreskin. It is not necessarily scaly. I believe what you are calling dandruff is probably smegma. If you have a more scaly condition, it would be good to see a doctor to verify that you do not have some other condition. The chance of you having penile cancer is probably low at age 30. However, any type of skin condition left untreated may become permanent. This could lead to problems such as a loss of sensitivity which you would regret later in life.

When it comes to smegma causing cancer, my first thought would be that smegma itself is not causing the cancer. It is probably poor hygiene that causes cancer. Many studies have proven that poor hygiene of uncircumcised penises causes many different problems, including cancer. However, proper hygiene generally eliminates all of these risks.

Good luck to you.

Re: Have lots of Smegma..risk of Penile cancer?

Smegma will never cause cancer. Men, and especially women, secrete it regularly. People use it as an excuse, though that has never been borne out by studies.
Excess smegma production can be a symptom of a yeast infection.
As far as the trouble retracting, you almost certainly have a chronic yeast infection. You, and any partners, will need to be treated. Scarring from yeast causes phimosis. You could benefit a great deal from reading the sticky at the top, on stretching a tight foreskin, once the yeast is taken care of.
Good luck.
