| Foreskin issue
Ok, about 11 days ago I had an operation called a frenuloplasty whereby tiny cuts are made on the frenulum and stitched back up to extend the frenulum and allow for greater retraction of the foreskin. It is pretty minor surgery and everything was well for the first 7 or so days afterwards. I was given a cream (called Chlorsig) to apply to the area and I did so for about the first 7 days. 6 days after the operation, I masturbated for the first time and it was seemingly only after I had done so that certain issues started to arise. The first issues were redness and itchiness of the head of the penis which appeared about 8 days after surgery and after I had masturbated once or twice since the op. The itchiness and redness of the head of the penis has died down today but now the foreskin has become swollen to the point where I can no longer fully retract it. There is no pain, and no discomfort when urinating, only a swollen forekin, and maybe some very slight tearing and peeling, though this is only minor. I did wash the whole head with soap yesterday and applied some moisturizer and since then it has become swollen.
I dont think its infection because the area where the stitching was looked completely fine for up to 9 days after surgery (I can now no longer see the area because of the swollen foreskin restricting the ability to retract the foreskin).
From what i've looked at online it sounds like it could be a yeast infection. My plan at the moment is to give it another 16 hours (till tomorow morning) and if it is still causing me problems I will go buy a yeast cream from the chemist. If after 48 hours I am still having problems I will likely go see a doctor.
Any help would be much appreciated.
