Just started testosterone injections. How much should I be taking?

I am getting testosterone because mine is extremely low.

I tried the androderm patches and had severe allergic reactions.

I switched to getting injections.

I get 1 injection per month and got TESTOSTERONE CYP 200 MG/ML. I will get it two months in a row, then the doctor said he will double the dose (I think he said he will double it then).

I have only had one shot, but do not feel much if anything at all.

Is this the typical amount to start with? It almost seems like I should get that shot once per week instead of once per month.

Is anyone else taking this? If so, how much are you taking?

Re: Just started testosterone injections. How much should I be taking?

First let me say, you lucky SOB! Well I guess, I wouldn't want extremely low test, but I would LOVE to be prescribed testosterone! Anyway for medicinal use it says it should be used in 2-4 week intervals.

When I was juicing though, we would use it weekly in order to keep our test levels high and level. Because the half life of the drug is about 8 days, after that you will have about half as much as the drug in your system. So I would imagine that you will definitely be able to notice a reduction in sex drive in the week or two before your next injection.

Keep in mind though, it always takes a little time before you can feel it "kick" in. Usually 1 or two weeks. Did you mention how long it's been since your first injection?

It is easy to get a prescription for testosterone when your level is half of what the minimum should be.

My doctor can also tell I do not work out. LOL

I got it about 2 weeks or so.
