I was facing a problem with severely tight foreskin & an extremely sensitive glans which made it impossible to have sex. I just couldnt stroke due to the extreme sensitivity and the foreskin which when retracted felt like a tight rubberband just below the glans. Not to mention the smegma which would get accumulated under the foreskin and smell bad.
So, after meeting a urologist, I went under the knife and got circed. The process was not very painful. The first three injections were dreadful though.
Now, i have been doing a lot of reading on it and I think I am healing well. The area near the sutures are dried. Its not looking like an abused golf ball anymore.
This is day 7. I have stopped the painkillers yesterday. Today will be the last day of antibiotics. My doc has asked me to not step into the shower until friday. That will be day 12. That's strange because most people starting bathing from day 3 onwards.
The swelling is mostly gone, the urine stream is returning to uniform from splatter, the blood oozing has also decreased, the glans is now not as sensitive as it was on day 1, it has a dry snake skin layer on top which i know will peel out very soon.
My question is about erections. I know that erections can be painful near the wounds. But should it also be painful near the base of the shaft? I have a couple of small bumps near the base of the shaft. I think they are injection marks and it really pains during erections.
Is this normal? Or is it because the surgeon cut too much skin away?
Is it too early to expect a painless boner? Or am I being plain paranoid?
Thank you for your help.
