| Testicular Pain
I am 15 years old. A few months ago I woke up and my right testicle hurt. After being sent to a few doctors in one day, they could not determine what was wrong and gave me oxycodone to help with the pain. They had done an ultrasound and found a small vericocele on the left side but said that would not cause pain on the right side. I had urine tests and other scans but nothing was abnormal. My pain did not improve and over the next few weeks, i spend a lot of time at the hospital. The pain also spread to include both testicles. They treated me with antibiotics to be sure it wasn't epidydmitis and checked for prostatitis.
The main area of concern has been my pelvic floor, either too tight or weak. I have completed biofeedback with no positive results. I have started physical therapy. When the therapist was massaging my pelvic floor, there was no pain when she pressed on the muscles. She said that this makes her think that the doctors diagnosis is not right. The doctor does not seem to want to consider anything else. I have even had a second opinion by another doctor in the same practice. The therapist says my lower back muscles are tight but I didn't know if this could make my testicles hurt.
