 Itch on penis glans
I have itch and sores on penis glans during the past over three months.
If you can help by providing ideas as to what I must do now, I will write in with more details.
I am 67, on medication for high blood pressure and diabetes. The first GP prescribed Decozol cream (applied 2times per day). The sore receded within five days but the itch remained. The second GP prescribed Betamethasone cream to be applied twice daily and the GP did not see the sore, because it was cured. I visited her because of the itch. Many days later another sore cropped up. The third GP prescribed Betamethasone cream. Again the sore was gone but the itch remained. I visited another GP. She prescribed the same medicine as the previous one. The fifth GP told me to try his preccription for five days, and if the sore remained, I must see a specialist. He prescribed Acyclovir 5% cream and Acyclovir 400 MG tablets. The sore receded but the itch still remains.
Which specialist should I consult now?
