Ok so I'm still in my teenage years, I'm circumsized, and am perfectly healthy as far as I know. However, like all teenagers, I have quite a sex drive, but I am still a virgin and have never done anything with anyone else so I know it's not an STD. But I fear I've done something through masturbation. About halfway up my shaft where the foreskin used to be I have a "crater-like" thing. I've had it for years and I've told my parents about it and they told me to keep an eye on it and to tell them if it changes at all. The problem is that it hasn't gone away nor has it changed in size or color or anything since I got it a couple years ago. It started one day when I found it and thought it was a sebaceous gland (which I have a lot of that are visible at base of my penis). I was stupid and tried popping it and it did pop. It split apart at one side and a clear liquid came out. This "crater" is about the size of a pimple or zit and doesn't have a weird color to it, just flesh-like. I cant tell how deep it goes but it is a little bit lower than the average paper-cut i would assume and it doesnt hurt at all. It resembled a blister on your hand that pops but at a smaller scale. I wouldn't be so afraid if it wasn't for the fact that it won't heal. Please help me. Anything would be appreciated. Lastly, it doesn't really look like cancer from what I've seen on the Internet but self-diagnoses can be misleading.
I know it can be embarrassing, but you need to see a doctor, preferably a specialist but your family doctor can probably refer you if necessary.
Wounds that do not heal tend to either be infected in some way or cancerous. The latter is probably unlikely, given how it appeared. But you still need to get it checked out.
Is it possible that it has healed? If it is flesh colored and doesn't hurt, perhaps you're looking at the "scar"? Some people who have warts that fall out by themselves get left with small craters. These heal over time, but slowly.
Either way, and on the off chance it's something serious, you really need a professional to take a look. If you're in need of treatment, the underlying cause might be spreading and make the treatment more severe as time passes.

IIve been doing some research and I was just wondering what the likelihood of my issue being a popped cyst? In all honesty the descriptions sound similar and I've received some help from some other peopl as well but I was just interested in what someone else might think as well. Also, thank you so very much for your help cause this has kinda been a confidence killer of mine and something that has constantly been on mind cause I'm kinda a hypochondriac.
If the "crater" has normal appearing skin over it, not raw or oozing, it is probably just a scar, a little divet created when the cyst popped and emptied out. I don't think it is cancer, since you have had it for years and it appeared after you popped a cyst. I would just have your Dr take a look next time you are there for reassuance, so you don't worry about it. The pore of the cyst may still be there and that may be the "crater" you are seeing.
