| | Pain in left Testicle for 2 months
Let me start off by say hello everyone I am new to this forum and am looking for some insight if anyone has had this problem.
First off I am a 22 year old male who is married and currently serves in the military and have been serving for almost 3 years! I have only had 1 partner in my entire life so I can rule out STD's as my wife has only had 1 partner in her entire life.
About 2 months ago I randomly experienced pain in my left testicle. The first 2 weeks weren't that bad DR thought it was epididymitis I had a shot of antibiotics and was put on 75mg of a antibiotic for 2 weeks. After that 2 weeks the pain had gotten worse and he gave me a 750mg dose of another antibiotic and some Vicodin so I could actually sleep. The problem is mainly after allot of moving. I had to wait 24 days to see a Urologist and he checked for a varicose and said that he couldn't find anything but any time anyone examines me or if I even bump or touch the testicle I get a shooting pain up my left abdomen and down my thigh. The urologist suggested I goto physical therapy as he thinks its my hips and I have a muscular imbalance and the brain is "confused" as to where the pain is and the brain interprets the "hip" pain as testicle pain.
I have been to physical therapy and they said they have found a tiny imbalance in my hip muscles. And they think it may be my sciatic(sorry if I spelled that wrong). Therapy does help and I can walk better but my testicle just hurts and if i sit to long it hurts, if i stand to long it hurts, if I walk to long it hurts. The only thing that makes it better is lying down and resting. I dont have any energy like i did before. I would consider my self somewhat hyperactive and lately I just cant find energy to do anything. And some nights the pain level is a 9 and I sometimes have tears of pain as I lay in bed after a busy day.
I know it has only been 2 months and I am making no progress really with my doctors. I have been out of work for about 4 weeks in past 2 months from random pain. If anyone has any insight or has this problem I would like to hear from someone else.
So far I have had 2 ultrasounds, 2 sets blood work, Hip X-rays, Multiple examinations, and none of these have yielded anything.
Again thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you!
