Re: Tight Foreskin Problems

For stretching exercises to loosen a tight foreskin, go to the top of the Men's Health Message Board and find the sticky headed Stretching To Fix Tight Foreskin (Phimosis). Follow those instructions at least once a day for a month and you should be happy with the results. If you can already retract your foreskin so that it is behind the knob when your penis is soft, you will eventually be able to retract it when you are erect, provided you do the stretching exercises regularly.

You should always retract your foreskin in the shower and clean your penis head with water and the friction of your fingers (or with soap, if the soap doesn't inflame or irritate your penis head). If you can't retract your foreskin when your penis is soft after stretching your foreskin for a month, you might need to see a doctor.

Since you have a tight foreskin, you should be careful about having sex without a condom. As you say, you need lots of lube -- and that is fine. However, vigorous thrusting with a tight foreskin might result in a torn frenulum -- and that means lots of blood and pain.
