| Red sticky scrotum

About 7 months ago I was diagnosed with a really bad case of jock itch. No culture was done, I was given antibiotics and anti fungal cream originally. The cream made my skin peel, and you can only use it externally so I stopped using it until the skin healed. I continued the antibiotics, finished them and then used the cream. Didn't work. Went to the doctor, got more cream. Didn't work. Referred to a dermatologist, same thing. Cream. Candida. Use cream. 10 visits to the dermatologist and I think I've had every anti fungal cream and pill available. One of the visits he gave me a hydrocorizone cream which killed the pigment on part of my scrotum. I wen't back to the doctor and they did a skin scraping which revealed no candida. My scrotum is red and sticky all the time, I dry it with a fan and use powders but this is always persistent. This has been going on for 7 months now and I'd like to live a normal life again. As soon as the doctor told me it wasn't fungal I had sex and that has worsened the redness. Any help is appreciated.
