Shiny, smooth skin without sensitivity on penis
As what I believe to be the result of dry rubbing and damage from friction, a patch of skin that's real smooth, shiny, and lacks sensitivity has appeared just below the right side of my glans and down the shaft a bit, maybe ~2 centimeters. It is slightly more red than the surrounding skin, perhaps slightly moist, and lacks any sensitivity; the main problem.
I was dry rubbing for a while, and chafed some skin around my penis (i'm circumcised, no protection against that), and I used some lotion that helps to repair dry/damaged skin, used it, and after a while I healed. It happened a second time around but this time I didn't use the lotion as I wasn't sure if it was bad for me. When it healed, I noticed that skin appear.
It's been a couple of weeks and it isn't clearing up, and if anything, is probably getting worse. I haven't been dry rubbing since I found it, and have done everything to not touch the skin there the whole time.
What did I do/what is this skin, and how do I treat this?
STDs are out of the equation. Could it be scar tissue? I never made a wound nor drew blood from my dry-rubbing, I only chafed some skin.
