| Is it possible for a fungal infection to live in underwear?
For about 5 months I have been dealing with an irritation on the head of of my penis and the area right beneath it. I have seen many doctors and exhausted almost every possibility as to what could be wrong, however my penis remains red and irritated basically all the time, more so after any thing like masturbation or sex. One doctor suggested that it may be a fungal infection (although I have already treated for this) and that I should use antifungals again and also get all new underwear. Has anyone had experience with something like this or can anyone validate whether this could be true or not? Or if anyone ever had a similar condition (unexplainable and seemingly incurable penis pain/irritation/redness) please let me know if you know anything I do not. I'm a 21 year old kid finishing college in May, this has been seriously damaging my life and I am desperate for answers and help!
