Hi-- I think it's much more beneficial for you, esp. w/a little one, to get a good night's sleep. It is important to recharge your batteries, esp. to get 'deep'/REM sleep. The flipside-- not getting or being able to get a good night's sleep-- is definitely NOT good for you, and it can be cumulative and affect your internal/brain chemistry, which makes psychological things worse, not the least of which is irritability, which definitely rubs off the wrong way with childrearing. So, I think: count your blessings not sheep trying to sleep!! Stay well...
