Hey all! I met this really really great guy about 3 weeks ago. He is hilarious and a genuinly caring guy. We really hit it off, then he told me that he had a little mental breakdown in March. He said that he was really depressed and would cut himself. Then one morning when no one was around he went to the top of the parking garage of the University we go to and decided that he would end it all there. Well, he tells me that he just couldnt because he felt something there and that he wanted to live. He decided that he needed help so he admitted himself into a mental health clinic and he says that now he is happy. He still takes medication and has to see a therapist, per the University, but he says that he is 10 times happier than he was. I realize that March was not that long ago, so is it possible for someone to have an almost complete turn-around that fast if they really try hard at getting better? His arms have no knew cuts and he is to me seems really happy. He is always optimistic and always makes me laugh. He is a really good person and I dont want to just walk away from him because it freaks me out a bit. He also reassures me that he is 100% ready to take on a relationship. He says that he is happy, but I just make him happier. What do you all think?
