i went to see a fortune teller awhile ago and i thought it would be fun until she told me something very upseting. She told me that i won't be as successful as i want to be. it scaried the crap out of me because even though fortune tellers might be a hoax , how did she know i wanted to succeed in life really bad. It still upsets me to this day when i think about my future. I kno its stupid to belive it but the fact that it Might be true scares the crap out of me. I worry about my future everyday and something like that scares me and worrys me to death.

Everyone wants to be successful in life. Did it ever occur to you she might have
just been mean spirited and knew if she planted that thought in your head the
thought alone could damage you chances of being successful. You have just
as good of chance as anyone else at being successful. Think Positive!!!

That's the reason I don't see fortune tellers, psychics, card readers, etc. Sometimes they're right on target; other times they don't have a clue. How are you supposed to know which is which? They're not God; they don't know everything. They do have insights into stuff we might not have, and the rest is hooey. I knew someone who went to a psychic who amazed her with her insight about certain things, but she also said "You will never have to worry about money." Well, she's still poor. Psychics can be dead wrong.

The whole secret behind fortune tellers is that they are perceptive and they use clues to play the percentages. There are just little things that they might notice about you to give them a hint about what you might think would be relevant to your life to hear.
Also, most of their statements are really GENERAL that could technically apply to a lot of people, so those that go to the fortune tellers always get a weird feeling like they really connected.

Fortune tellers are good at reading people most of the time and that is how they do their business.

Also, if fortune tellers were so wise, why aren't they winning the lotteries?
