Re: What's up with me?

Hi

Well, first off I wanted to say that, for myself, your post was hard to read because of all of your 'slang' or whatever that was. I just pointed that out because I almost stopped reading it halfway through because of it, and I would hate for you to lose good advice because you chose to write the post that way.

So, you said that people watch you while you are in public like there is something wrong with you? Is it possible they are looking at you because you look like you are having so much fun at whatever it is you are doing? You didn't give much detail as to what you normally are doing when people are watching you, other than stating that you were all cheery and stuff. Maybe they watch you because they find you interesting to watch? Anyway, I wouldn't worry much if you can help it as to why people are watching you. I think we all feel like that from time to time (or maybe more often than that). People like to watch people...I know some that will go to the mall or other public places just to do that.

Anyway, sorry I wasn't more help, good luck!

Re: What's up with me?

ok, ok, I got my college-educated brother(and boy, it was a pain to get him to help me) to help me out in making the post look good and readable.

Hey People. Thanks for taking the time to read my post for all ya who clicked on it.

I have a question. When I'm in public and stuff and I just do, you know, just be myself. People look at me weird, like I'm some strange anomaly. I never know why they do that, but it's alwasy been that way. No matter what.

So i guess I came here because I thought you guys might know why they do that. So, any clues?

I just think I'm acting like myself and being all cheery and crap and just fooling around, but people look at me like I'm some martian that should be worried about.

Re: What's up with me?

omg that was so much easier to read! Thank you!

I already responded to this, but wanted to add that I am not sure anyone here could tell you what other people are thinking. I would just try not to worry about what other people are thinking about you...who cares? I say continue to have fun and continue being 'cheery and crap' and let them think whatever they want, it is their problem, not yours. (...and like I said earlier, maybe they don't worry about you cos you are wierd, maybe they just find you fascinating to watch, and if so, is that such a bad thing?...)

Good luck.

Re: What's up with me?

Well I kind of relate. When I meet new people at work or at a gathering or friends of my spouse I feel like they like me and accept me, but after a few more meetings they seem to be uncomfortable around me. Like lets say they are in a group and I show up and say hi, they kind of keep talking and ignoring and have a little smirk on their faces before they respond and say hi. While before at the first few days they would quickly stop what they were doing and say hi back.
