Lazer-LXXVII

It all started in my second block class (im 17 and in high school), my friend and i just gambled a couple dollars on a game of guys (or otherwise known as 3 card poker), and then it just because a regular habit for me and 3 of my friends. Every day in that class we gamble a good bit, since its not too serious of a class, we only do work for a little bit and then get the rest of the time to ourselves.

But now its becoming a habit, every day i HAVE to play. The first few games i lost a ton of money, probably within the first week i lost $30, which is quite a good bit for me since i dont have the best paying job in the world. Though now i am much smarter, and lately all i have been doing is winning, or when i lose its only a couple of dollars. I believe betting some money time to time is fine, but i cant seem to resist. Sometimes i may just come to school with $2 for lunch, and i gamble that away.

To me it seems like a serious mental addiction, it can soon get pretty bad. Some of my friends even joke around that when i turn 21 ill go to Vegas, and ill take a bus home because i would gamble everything away. Anyone have any advice to cool down a little bit, i cant seem to stop. The thing that usually stops me is if i have no money, or its time to leave.
