Oh, yes, especially if you're on one of the older anti-psychotics like Thorazine or Haldol. It sounds like it might be the beginning of tardive dyskinesia, or something closely related to it. Unfortunately, after a long duration of taking the older anti-psychotics, most people develop this disorder, which is diagnosed by facial jerkings. The reason I'm suggesting this as a possible cause is because what you described sounds very much like tics exhibited in Tourette's syndrome, and tardive dyskinesia is a tic disorder of sorts. Talk about paradoxical, considering that Tourette's is usually treated by anti-psychotics...
