Cancer Obsession - Mental Health Message Board

Hi all! I was wondering if there's anyone out there with OCD that obsesses about getting cancer? I've had 6 blood tests in the past 1 1/2 to 2 years to reassure myself - they've all come back fine - my mom died in October 2005 from leukemia -

Hi, Yes I do and have for as long as I can remember. I now have also been really worried about other health conditions now too. I can't stand it anymore and have decided to go to counseling. You are not alone- and I guess I am not either!

i used to worry all the time that i had a brain tumor or a vessel in my brain was gonna pop. cancer doesnt just show up it grows slowly over time so i dont think u should worry about cancer
