There is a pattern I seem to follow and I don't know why? When a man that isn't my type goes after me, trying to date me by complimenting me and charming me--I still don't have any attraction to him, but the second he starts avoiding me or I see him paying attention to another girl and quits giving ME that attention--I'm instantly drawn to him and begin to develop strong feelings for him. I even feel obsessive and hope his attention comes back on me--even if I have other men going after me that are way better than him--it doesn't matter--HE becomes my focus until he comes after me again. How do I change that about myself?

Hi, i have the same problem sometimes, i think its pretty normal to want something you dont have anymore, it may suck to see him eyeing some other girl but dont feel as though ur not as good as her. It is most likely that he gave up on you, not that he found someone better just like that.

Hi Faith, maybe understand WHY you do this. Do you have a fear of intimacy?
