Hello all,
Let me make this short and hope you guys can offer some advice....after 35 yrs my FATHER is out of prison and has contacted me......we had two conversations on the phone and i met with him breifly i was told that i may not be his daughter the only thing my told me about this was that she didnt think he was my father and let it at that i always try to ask her but she felt that time was never right she died 14 years ago and left me with alot of unanswered questions he told me that my mother confessed to him many yrs ago that she cheated three times while they were together...so i told him that i would like to take a paternity test and he said ok but i have been doing all this research about testing it is any where from $239.00-$500.00 i cant afford that i told him to talk to the people he has helping him with employment etc i just feel like i cant wait any longer this is making me crazy

any advice

Hello Des,

He is your father; whether it is in the biological respect or not, remains to be seen.

If he is all that you knew, I would leave it at that.

What happens if you find out that he isn't your biological parent; do you know or are you aware of the other two possible people?

If you still want to go through with it, I hope that you find what you seek.
