Heard These Voices - Mental Health Message Board

This has happened to me a few times, but it doesn't happen often at all.

Last night I was reading this trivia site "Did You Know?" (love random trivia), and in the middle of reading one of the facts, I heard 3 different voices go "Lithium" one after another.

Not sure what to make of this, but it worried me...I really only noticed it after they said that. It just sounded so real, it was creepy :\ . I'm not sure what to make of this....what do you guys think?

If you continue to hear a or many voices then I'd say talk to a psychiatrist about it.

You heard them in your head or like someone was actually talking aloud?

It sounded like it was talking aloud; coming from my ear. I know no one was there talking, and I know in reality that it's in my mind, but it sounded like someone was actually talking aloud.

You should discuss it with a psychiatrist or psychologist. It may not be anything really, but you need peace of mind. You are aware of that nobody was talking and that is a good sign. Are you under a lot of stress at the moment? I bet that stress can cause it. I've had a lot of strange things happen while under a lot of stress. By the way, why lithium? Do you take lithium or do you feel that you need to take it?
