Hello,

this is my first post. I'm male, 20 years old and have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in 1996. I started taking prescribed Fluvoxamine in 2001. Ever since around 2005 or 2006 I have had kind of a 'yucky' feeling in my mind, here I will describe some of the other symptoms:

1. fuzzy head - never feeling with it
2. Feeling detached and unreal - I constantly get thoughts like "Who is this person" (referring to myself)
3. feeling of depression and hopelessness
4. feeling a tad more anxious than usual and have and all sounds blend together. When I am in class, a student crumbling paper will be just as predominant as the teacher speaking.
5. sometimes shortness of breath
6. poor memory and slow recall (I can't even focus on a 1/2 hour show or read a book)
7. Sudden feeling of anger and wanting to be aggressive, clench teeth, wanting to pound something.
8. lack of motivation, I feel like I am always a rat trying to
walk across a mile-long footbridge.
8b. Can't focus on the present moment.
9. Not desiring life.
10. Fear of life and fear of non-existence
11. Cannot be happy no matter how much I try to focus on good things.

I am not suicidal, but I am afraid if I have to endure all this for another few years I might do something like that. Like I said, all this started in around '05 or '06 and really started to speed up in early '08. My parents just think its laziness and that "I'm spoiled", and my doctor keeps trying different medications -all don't work. Focalin XR even made it worse so I had to stop the Focalin.
The funny thing is, is I used to be a moderate stutterer but ever since my mind has been feeling funny, I rarely stutter at all anymore!
So what should I do?
Does anyone here know what is causing this and how to fix it?
