Anyone else taking paroxetine - Mental Health Message Board

I just started on a drug called paroxetine 20mg (1 a day) 8 days ago, but I'm finding hard to stay asleep at nights all I seem to get is about 2 hours a night, I also seem to be having tummy ache and nausea, and sweating a lot still, are these all just side effects and will they go soon. and how long do you have to take them before you start to feel better??

yes i do take that... 30 mgs have been for quite a while. i also take a night time medication called trazadone.100 mgs. it is an older anti-depressant, but my doctor perscribed it to me for anxiety and to help me sleep.... taking ssris that can be a possible side effect is loss of sleep..... maybe you can talk to ur doctor

SORRY. i mis-read the type of medication u were taking.. i take fluoxeting.... sorry about that
