I can't offer advice but I can tell you about my family. Anger issues run in my mom's side of our family. Serious anger issues. My mom was always angry. Her Dad was always angry. My mom started taking Paxil and her anger issues went away. She was a completely different person. She mentioned that to my Grandma, who suggested it to Grandpa's doctor, and the exact same result with him. SSRI's helped. So, at least in our family, anger issues seem to be treatable by the same method you would treat clinical depression. My mom says that she thinks there is something wrong with their brain chemistry.
