Your suspicion on rx'ed med. is possible, particularly if you have underlined mental problem, preposed it. Depression causisng many issues, i.e., not enough energy to study and function well along with sad moods.
As to depression, you need to make an appt. with psychiatrist and tell the story about how you've been feeling after taking the med. After that, he/she would diagnose and prescribe the med. for you to feel better.
