| need some info, friend's father recently died
hi everyone, my housemate and close friend recently had a parent pass away from cancer caused by asbestos. she held a service for her father this summer. i had no idea how quickly this type of cancer can act. she has graciously consented to tell me her story. she has told me about caring for him, the different types of treatment he went through, and just daily interactions she would share with him. i am a psyc student and am concentraiting on developmental psyc and the importance and meaning of touch. i find this field very interesting and was amazed at how complex it was for her to take care of her father until he passed away. i was wondering if anyone else would like to tell me about their experiences and how personal interactions changed or stayed the same, and how physical dynamics were affected.
