Weakness
Anybody know if tremendous weakness is a symptom of this disease? My dad has Peritoneal Mesothelioma, and it has covered a large portion of his bowel. He barely walks now, (about 1/2 a block a day), and his GP says it's a symptom of the cancer. Any thoughts?

Hi Cheryl.Weakness is a major symptom of all cancer.My dad suffered real bad with fatigue, lethargy and weakness.He had pleural meso.He was diagnosed may05 and died july05 during which he was hardly mobile at all.My dad had just 12 weeks,before which we never had any idea he was poorly.
Perhaps chemo will help!Regards Jo
