I have not posted here often but have been reading a bit. Seems many folks are just finding out about these little buggers. There was some research done a while back by a Dr. Garth Nicholson (sp?) that seemed to indicate this was the major culprit for our ills. Eventually the VA started an antibiotic trial based on his research. The jist of it was they gave Mycoplasma positive vets either a placibo or Doxycycline for a year or two (cant remember which). The tests were done blind so no one knew who got what (unless you forgot to take it with food like me) untill the the results were in well after the study was complete. In the end the Dox did kill the Mycoplasma, from what I recall, but it had no affect on the symptoms.
