I was in the reserves for 10 years. During the 1991 Desert Storm period, I was activated an received a lot of vaccines. Shortly into my stay at Philadelphia Naval Hospital, where I was stationed, I became extremely ill to the point that I couldn't function. I was sent to Bethesda Hosptial for testing and hospitalized for about 5 days. My EEG was slightly abnormal but they disregarded that after my MRI results came back normal. I was kept in the hospital with out eating the whole time so that they could check to see if I had a form of hypoglycemia. Never theless, they released me saying that I needed to eat 6-8 small meals a day in which I did and this made no difference in my health. I had light sensitivity, fatigue, nausea, confusion, light headedness, and chronic GI problems. I didn't start feeling better until I had my first child 2 years later. However, I still continue to have chronic fatigue episodes, and GI problems. Now all three of my children have diagnosed immune problems and GI problems. My oldest son has an IgM deficiency. My 3 year old has autistic spectrum disorder, and immune problems, and my 15 month old has an IgE deficiency. None of these problems run on either side of our families. My middle son is going to be evaluated shortly for what is believed to be a vaccine injury, mercury toxicity. I am convinced that if I had never received all those vaccines, I wouldn't have these problems with myself or my children. All my sisters and brother have healthy children as well as my husbands brothers boys are healthy. There is no explanation, but i really want to pursue investigating this since my husband and I would like one more child but we can't take the chance of having to go through all the health related stress. Besides is it fair for us to bring another child into this world knowing that it may have multiple health problems. My two youngest sons have a severe wheat and milk allergy, as well. If anyone has a similar story please write back. Any advice would be great. I am a nurse, but can't work due to my 3 year old and 15 month old son's conditions. Thank you
