Gulf War Symptom---Spleen Rupture - Military Health Issues Message Board

Hi everyone, like manyof my brothers and sisters of the Gulf War-I have GWS, I have numerious problems and then in 1999 my spleen ruptured. I was at work at the time and i was rush to the hospital and after 5hrs of tests they found what happened and I had emergency surgery. Once i was back home, i contacted another GWV friend and she told me this had happened before to other GWV's and there was a problem in our blood systems. Of course the Govt and the VA isnt acknowledging this yet. At the time this had happened to me (Nov 99) I was the 3rd she knew of, Has there been others? Also-anyone that has questions on the PB tablets I might be able to help, I was my units NBC NCO. B.CO 724th SB (M) 24th Infantry Division (M)

You are fortunate to be alive. Many of those who went before you suffered heart attacks and strokes.

The problem with GWS is that it attacks each individual as to each individual's weakness. Those of us who gave in to eat and drink and sedentary lifestyles went out with heart attacks and strokes. Those of us who tend toward the lean side suffer other ailments to accompany us to our deaths.

My weakness happens to be sometimes my liver, sometimes my Central Nervous System.

Believe me, if you survived the first round on your spleen, you are doing well.

You can blame all of the Gulf War aspects:
Vaccinations
Pills
Bio-weapons
Chem-weapons
Unsanitary desert conditions (fungus and parasites)
Oil well fires
The electoral college and stupid voters
Ad nauseam
