 Pregnant after gulf war - very worried, help!
Hi,
Im hoping someone can help me! I am pregnant, and conceived within a month of my husband returning from the gulf. I have become aware that he came into contact with depleted uranium, and also have concerns about the medication taken by him (and the other troops) whilst out there.
Much information is available about the possible birth defects caused by both DU and the medication, but it isnt taken seriously. I was dismissed by my medical consultant when raising my conerns, and now dont know where to turn.
Every day i worry myself sick about this baby, and possible problems caused by DU in our weapons, and the medication given to my husband.
Any help, or a pointer in the direction of groups or people who could advise me would be much appreciated, im very frightened.
