Minor Ear Surgery
I am having a minor surgery next month on my ear to repair a perilymph fistula. The surgery requires the surgeon to cut the tympanic membrane and patch the oval window. The surgery is done under a local anesthetic and it only takes 45 minutes.
I am currently trying to enlist in the US Air Force. I spoke with my recruiter about this and she said I should be able to get a medical waiver.
Does anyone have any advice or experience?
