Children of Desert Storm Dad!

After i returned from the gulf i started to develop quarter size bald spots in my hair, and was told not to worry it was just stress. I was in 2/505 PIR that blew up the Ammo Dump. 20 minutes after explosion, chemical alarms sounded. Was called by the IG in 1996 after i got out and was told no alarm sounded! Now have twin boys with different ailments.
1. Both sons permanent teeth are coming in missing enamel.
2. both sons when they were 3 lost there toe and finger nails.
3. one of my sons suffers from Allopecia Areata. patchy hair w/ no eyebrows or lashes.

Is anyone else having problems like this?
Wondering if just me?

Re: Children of Desert Storm Dad!

Hi welcome to the boards! I don't really know at this point but I would say that if it were me I would do a lot of research about the syndromes and possible chemicals I might have been exposed to and possible chelating agents. If it were me I might try some steam activated charcoal ( not the grill type of charcoal briquettes) to see if it would adsorb the chemicals and also I would eat more cilantro since this is said to chelate metals such as lead. My sympathies are expressed for you and your sons.
