I'd say it depends on the cause of the miscarriages. If they happened because your cervix won't stay shut, for example, you'd need treatment to keep that from happening again. If the cause is a mystery, your chance is probably around 5% like the rest of the population.
There is a syndrome that causes blood to clot and is to blame for causing repeat miscarriages. It's called anti-phosphoidlipoid syndrome (sp?), or APLS. You can read about it as a sticky at the top of the Lupus thread (and no, you don't automatically have lupus if you have APLS!). Do read that in case it sounds familiar and, if it does, tell your OB doctor as soon as the office opens (ask to speak to the nurse).
