Question about miscarriage and breasts leaking - Miscarriage & Still Birth Message Board

I was pregnant and miscarried at probably 8 weeks or so. I am on the patch and ended up getting pregnant and just Tuesday I started with brown blood and then passed a mass that look very different than a clot or anything that has ever come out before and now I'm bleeding bright red pretty heavy. My question is has anyone ever had their breasts leak after a miscarriage? It's not a lot but I've had a little bit of leaking yesterday that I noticed. Or is this a side effect of the patch? Thanks!

I have had two mc, but never did I experience the leaking. My second I was almost 10 wks, but baby stopped growing at 6. Eventhough I didn't leak, I did lose a lot of hair. Hormones can do some crazy things!! I had my daughter April of 04, and after she was born I lost about 1/2 of my hair. (good thing I have a lot of it) So you body can do strange things. Just get plenty of rest, and I hope you feel better!

Thank you for answering. I haven't had any more leaking that I noticed since the last time. So I guess that is good. I've been sleeping as much as possible but it is hard to fall asleep because I keep thinking about all the what ifs! But Thank you! And I'm sorry for your losses.
