I wondered if you mind me asking what sort of bleeding you had following a miscarriage.
I have had a normal period this month followed 4 days later by slow bleeding. This went on for about 18 days and filtered out to spotting yesterday. I have stopped today.
I went to see my gp on friday and he referred me for a blood test which has shown the pregnancy hormone and he has said I have miscarried.
My mind is all over the place at the moment as is my emotions but I wondered if i'm 'done' when it comes to bleeding or if I am to expect more.
My gp said that I need to go back if still bleeding in 10 days for an ultrasound.
My super early miscarraige only had 12 days of bleeding, so it would be my guess that you are probably finished with it. Don't ignore the gp though if you aren't. You don't want to have any complications for later pregnancies.

Thanks for replying I know it's a sensitive subject, but it's difficult knowing for sure on your own.
I will be sure to get checked if any more bleeding close in date. I have read here that my normal cycle should return after about 4-6 weeks.

I bled all throughout my pregnancy. Once I miscarried, bleeding was very heavy and painful for about 7-10 days, and light bleeding for another 10 days in total I bled for over 3 months! but for the miscarriage, it was about 2- 2.5 weeks
oh my.. poor you! must have been really hard and then to miscarry.
I must admit i expected something more 'dramatic' i know that probably sounds silly but you imagine being rushed to hospital etc.. and my GP asked me to be sure to go to A&E if started bleeding heavy.. so he must've expected it too.
guess i'm just 'lucky' in a strange kind of way. Would much sooner have my baby.
