I lost my little boy - Miscarriage & Still Birth Message Board

Hi im glad i found this website because people understand what im goin through.i had a miscariage last year at 8wks so wen i fell pregnant this year i was so woried something will go wrong and it did.i had an ameo at 16wks cos they thought my son had downs.the tests came bak sayin he was a healthy baby boy.i thought nothing could go wrong now but i was wrong i had anotha u/s at 20wks on the 07/10/08 and they couldnt find a heartbeat.they induced me an my son was born on the 7/12/08. The midwife asked me if i wanted to see him but my husband and i didnt because we have an u/s pic of him suckin his thumb which we have framed and thats how we want to remember him the doctor also said it was proberly the ameo that killed my son i wish i could turn back time.its been 10days an it still hurts alot i stil cry alot and get teary when sumone says his name.my sons funeral is next week and it is goin to be hard to say goodbye but he may be gone but he wil always be in my heart and never forgotten.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost my first baby and can't imagine having to go through this pain a second time. My heart goes out to you and your husband. I'm so scared of losing another baby. I wish there could be something more we could do to prevent this from happening, but all we're told is there's nothing we did wrong.

Kit92000, I am so very, very sorry over the loss of your precious baby. Years ago, I too lost a daughter at 28 wks. I did want to see her and I did hold her and name her. We have a funeral service for her as well.
As time goes by, you will become somewhat better, the hurt will never go away..but you will be able to cope with it.
